1. payments.
Payments must be made direct to the engineer on completion of the job by cash or Credit/Debit card. Failure to pay on completion will be dealt with accordingly and possibly incur an interest charge.
2. materials.
Materials will be charged at cost price + a 20% trade mark up. Material collection time for non stock items will be chargeable for the first hour. If for example a replacement part is only available in a particular location which will take more than the chargeable hour to collect then the customer will be informed and costs will be discussed. All materials remain the property of Aquasan Limited until full payment is received.
3. fixed price quotations.
Fixed price quotations are generally non-chargeable but a charge may be incurred depending on the time and location of which the quote is to be given. Fixed price quotations are valid for 30 days. Due to the fluctuating cost of materials, after this time the job may need to be re-quoted. The cost of any quote will be deducted from the job if Aquasan Limited carries out the work.
4. labour.
On some occasions it will be necessary for more than one Engineer to be required for a job i.e. working at heights off of ladders, the heavy lifting involved in boiler replacement or any job where our Engineers deem it necessary for the use of more than one Engineer. The customer will be informed if this is necessary and the reasons why. These jobs will be charged per engineer.
5. business accounts
Business accounts are available to Business customers on completion of 6 or more jobs carried out by Aquasan Limited. Invoices will be issued at the end of the month of which the job was completed and payment must be made no later than 30 days from invoice date. Any failures to pay on time will be dealt with accordingly and possibly incur an interest charge. The Business account will then be cancelled.
6. cancellations.
The customer has the right to cancel any job; 48 hours notice would be preferred if possible as so Engineers can be redirected. If cancellations are made by the customer and materials have already been purchased or ordered for this particular job, then these items will be chargeable. Also Aquasan Limited has the right to cancel, giving the customer 48 hours notice if possible and a good reason for the cancellation. Aquasan Limited can refuse to accept any work if they deem it acceptable to do so with a good reason.
7. guarantees.
A 12 month guarantee will be give on all labour and new items fitted. Any items repaired or refurbished will not be given a guarantee. Some new items fitted will have guarantees longer than 12 months issued by the manufacturer; in this case the customer will be informed.
8. defects
Any defects or for any reason the customer is not satisfied, then the customer should contact Aquasan Limited within 12 months, any remedial works will be carried out if deemed appropriate. If the work is not deemed appropriate then any extra work carried out will be chargeable.
